Terms ofuse

What we sell, how an order works, and who to write to if something goes wrong. All of it is what we already do, gathered onto one page so it is easy to check.

In short

  • Sending the order form is a request, not a purchase. Nothing is owed until you have said yes to a price.
  • This site never takes payment. Anyone asking you to pay through a page here is not us.
  • Every piece is made after you order it, so once making starts we cannot unmake it.
  • Damages, refunds and returns are on the Shipping & Delivery page, and that page is the version that counts.

That is the summary, not the agreement. The sections below are the part that counts.

01Who you are buying from

Pixie Bloom is a handmade resin jewellery shop run by one person. There is no company behind it, no warehouse and no staff.

Trading name
Pixie Bloom
Run by
Gangotri, as an individual. Not a registered company, and not registered for GST, so prices carry no tax component.
Based in
Bhuj, Gujarat, India. Ask and we will give you the full postal address in writing.

Complaints go to
Gangotri, at the email above. Acknowledged inside 48 hours, resolved inside a month.

We ship across India and we do not ship abroad. By using this site or ordering from us you are agreeing to what is on this page.

02How an order actually happens

There is no cart and no checkout on this site, and that is deliberate. Every piece is different, so a price has to be worked out piece by piece rather than added up by a page.

  • You send the order form, or a DM, describing what you would like. This is a request. You have not bought anything and you owe nothing.
  • We reply within 24 hours with what is possible, what it costs and roughly when it can arrive.
  • You say yes to the price. Only at that point is there an order between us.
  • You pay, and we start making. Nothing is made before payment clears.
  • We ship, and we send you the tracking.

We can turn a request down. If a design is beyond what resin will hold, or the date is sooner than we can make it, we will say so rather than take the money and hope.

03Prices, and how you pay

Prices on this site are in Indian rupees and are the starting point for a standard piece. Extra work, a larger size or unusual materials change the number.

We quote one price for the piece you have described, and we tell you that number before you pay, never after. It is worked out from the materials and the hours the piece takes, so it is not a starting figure to be talked down. If it is more than you wanted to spend, say so and we will tell you what a simpler or smaller version would cost instead. That is a different piece at its own honest price, rather than the same piece cheaper.

The price we quote you holds for that order, even if the site changes the following week.

Payment happens entirely away from this website. Once you have said yes, we send you UPI or bank details directly and you pay from your own banking app. This site has no payment page, no gateway and no QR code, and it never will. If you are ever sent a link or a QR that claims to be a Pixie Bloom payment page, it is a scam. Check with us first.

We do not offer cash on delivery, and a piece is made only after payment has cleared.

04What handmade means here

Resin is poured, not printed. Two pieces made from the same brief will not be identical twins, and yours will not be pixel-for-pixel the photo you were shown. Small bubbles, a flower sitting a degree differently, a shade that lands slightly warmer: those are the piece being handmade, not the piece being wrong.

Our photographs are edited for brightness and colour balance so a piece looks on screen the way it looks in daylight. We do not edit the shape of anything, and we do not add what is not in the piece. Screens also disagree with each other about colour, so if an exact shade matters, tell us before we pour and we will send you a photo first.

Dried flowers and pressed petals vary from batch to batch. If a particular flower matters to your piece, ask us whether we still have it rather than assuming a photo means it is in stock.

05Changing or cancelling an order

Before making starts, a change is easy. Message us the same day you approve your details and we will fix a spelling, a colour or a size at no cost.

Once making starts, we cannot undo it. A piece with your name and your colours in it cannot be sold to anyone else, so a cancellation after that point is not something a shop this small can absorb. This is the same rule as returns, for the same reason.

If we are the ones who cannot deliver, for any reason at all, you get every rupee back.

06Delivery, damages and refunds

All of it is on the Shipping & Delivery page: how long making and travelling each take, what shipping costs, how to track a parcel, what we do if it arrives broken, and the three cases where money comes back. That page is the policy, and it is written to be read before you order rather than after something goes wrong.

The short version: there are no returns and no exchanges, because every piece is made for one person. Damage in transit, our own mistake, and a parcel the courier loses are the exceptions, and in all three we remake or refund in full.

Read Shipping & Delivery

Timelines are honest estimates, not guarantees. Once a parcel is with the courier its progress is the courier's, and festivals, weather and strikes are all things we can tell you about but cannot fix. If a date cannot move, tell us the date it has to arrive by, before you order.

07Looking after your piece, and who it is for

These are decorative pieces. Resin does not enjoy being left in a hot car, sat on, or scrubbed, and strong sunlight over months will lighten a colour. Keep a piece away from perfume and sanitiser, and take earrings off before you swim.

Not a toy. Keychains, charms and earrings have small parts, and a young child can choke on them. Please keep them away from small children, and out of reach of pets.

To order, you need to be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian doing it with you.

08Our words and our pictures

The photographs, the writing, the designs and the name on this site are ours. Save an image to show a friend, pin it, send it back to us as a reference: all fine, all welcome. Reselling our photos, listing our pieces as your own work, or using them to advertise another shop is not.

When you send us a reference photo, you are telling us you have the right to send it. If you have picked something up from elsewhere online, we may take inspiration from it but we will not copy another maker's piece.

09Using this site

Use it the way it was meant to be used. Do not scrape it, do not flood the order form, and do not try to break into anything. We keep the site available as best we can, but it is hosted software and it can go down or change without notice.

We count page visits so we can see which pieces people stop and look at. It sets no cookies, it identifies nobody, and the Privacy Policy lists exactly what is recorded and how to switch it off.

We check what we write here, but we cannot promise every page is free of a mistake. If you spot one, tell us and we will fix it. Where a price or a detail is obviously wrong, we will correct it and confirm with you before making, rather than hold either of us to a typo.

10The law, and changes to this page

These terms are governed by Indian law, and the courts at Bhuj, Kachchh, Gujarat are the ones that would hear a dispute.

Nothing here takes away a right you have under Indian consumer law. Where this page and that law disagree, the law wins.

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and the version that applies to your order is the one that was on this page the day you said yes to a price.

Before any of that: message us. Almost everything that looks like a dispute is a misunderstanding that one honest conversation fixes, and we would much rather have the conversation.

Not sure where you stand?

Ask before you order, not after. The same person who makes the pieces reads the messages, and you will have an answer within 24 hours.
